Springfield City Council Forum

Tuesday, April 4th is decision day. Greene County residents will head to the polls to cast their vote for City Council candidates. In preparation for the General Municipal Election, forums have been held across the city for community members to openly hear each candidate’s views in an unbiased setting.

On Monday, March 27th, the Neighborhood Advisory Council hosted a forum at Drury University. The following is the first 60-minute session, which features candidates running for Mayor and General Seats A & B. The forum will also be aired Saturday, April 1st at 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 2nd at 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. You can listen to the forum anytime here!

KDRU believes in the importance of local elections and the responsibility to help credibly inform our communities. The decisions made by local elected officials have the greatest impact on everyday life. We all should be part of those decisions. Along with the forum podcast and video, we’ve provided other resources for you to explore.

Polls will be open Tuesday, April 4th from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.

See you there!
